Departure from Cambasque parking area (1370 m)
You’ll walk along the Ilhéou River, you’ll cross the small Ilhéou Bridge at about 1 km from the parking area and you’ll follow the track until the Ilhéou cascade. The detour up to the cascade is worth it but do not leave children going alone. Tricky short passage where you’ll need your hands! Beware also when getting near to the deep hole dug by the cascade falls. Get information at the Tourism Office of Cauterets regarding regulations for dogs, our friend pets.
Variant : take the GR 10 to go and the track to come back.
